Long term Buy and Hold strategy has been most tested and the underlying fundamental is in investing in undervalued stocks and sell it when it becomes overvalued. Investment returns generally experience exponential returns if a investor know how to pyramid skillfully to ride on a long term trend and this has created many successful investors.

I am of the believe that the current economic cycles are increasingly prone to speculative investments, excessive liquidity spur asset bubbles and a period of prolonged and stable economic growth will be difficult to be sustained. Instead, it will be increasingly replaced by shorter cycles of growth and decline.
Hence, stock investment and trading strategies should be adjusted as well to take advantage of the shorter and more turbulent economic and stock market cycles.
