Since the last buy call on Eastman Kodak, the stock has broken out of a tight consolidation zone around $6.22 and formed two stage breakout to reach $8 high. Currently, the stock is overextended as can be seen in the chart that the price is far from the 13,26D MA. The good news is that the failed breakout on Thursday night which forms a spinning top is not of high volume. The trading volume is also drying up as the stock consolidates towards the moving averages which is a good sign. Expect further upside on breakout of $8 , but next few sessions would be rough given yesterdays selldown.

I can’t remember where I read this but is it true that someone checked into Darvas and his accounts he really didn’t make as much money as he claimed in his book? I wish I could remember where I read it but if it is true does that invalidate his method?
I have no info to conclude the claim above. However, the effectiveness of a trading system or method is not reflected in how much a person earn. If u read turtle trading, u will also know that 10 person who learn the same trading system and method has totally different result. THis is not due to intellectual difference but our pyschological make up.
